Planning Engineer

Job Purpose :

• Develop, optimize and control of production and material plans and calculate planning estimations relevant to tenders

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct man/ machine hours and materials estimations for sales support tenders’ requests.
• Prepare material and production plans for orders and create work orders accordingly.
• Check inventories and create purchase requests according to material plans.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams the issuance of materials according to orders delivery priorities.
• Follow up materials deliveries and expedite as needed for production teams to start production.
• Follow up materials and production plans regularly to minimize deviations from plan.
• Identify production blocks and recommend reallocation of manpower between units as needed.
• Conduct production cycle analysis for direct manager to set standard man/ machine hours for standard products.
• Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
• Prepare various planning status reports and metrics to facilitate follow up and decision making.

Qualification & Education :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Experience from 1 to 3 years in planning.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft office skills.
• Good Command of English.
