Planning Engineer

Job Summary:-

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules, coordinating planning and reporting activities, and ensuring project execution aligns with contractual requirements and organizational objectives. The role requires advanced expertise in project controls, scheduling software, and construction methodologies to support timely, cost-effective project delivery

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity sequencing, logic linking, and resource loading.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify variances.
• Perform schedule forecasting, “what-if” analysis, and critical path analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule narratives.
• Maintain project risk registers and support mitigation planning
• Coordinate progress measurement systems, including earned value analysis (EVA).
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, progress, delays, and resource utilization.
• Ensure planning and scheduling practices align with company procedures and industry standards.
• Conduct schedule quality checks and maintain schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

• 7–12+ years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or Residential projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
