Planning Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Engineer - Planning to join our dynamic site team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful planning and execution of construction projects, working collaboratively with Project Manager/Resident Engineer and team members to deliver high-quality results.

• Develop and maintain project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera
• Review and analyze procurement and construction programs for contractors and subcontractors
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, graphs, and critical path analyses for weekly and monthly reporting
• Monitor actual progress against construction programs and report deviations to Client
• Assist in identifying project risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
• Collaborate closely with site supervision teams to gather real-time progress updates
• Conduct independent site visits to evaluate contractor progress against established programs
• Support the evaluation of potential additional works and variation proposals
• Maintain detailed records of program monitoring to support claim evaluations and dispute resolutions
• Assist in workshops and meetings to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders
• Review and prepare Extension Of Time recommendation report to Client.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  
  

• Minimum 7 years of UAE experience.
  
  

• Proficient in Primavera P6 , MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
  
  

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and workflows.
  
  

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
