Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with more than 7 years of UAE construction experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling all construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Develop baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis.
• Identify delays, analyze critical paths, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and Subcontractors.
• Track manpower, equipment, materials, and productivity.
• Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Conduct progress review meetings and present project status reports.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, resource histograms, and S-curves.
• Support claims, extension of time (EOT), and delay analysis documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and project specifications.
• Assist management in project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
• Maintain proper planning records and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of UAE construction experience.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, villa, and infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Experience in resource planning, cost monitoring, and progress measurement.
• Ability to perform delay analysis and prepare recovery programs.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of proven UAE construction industry experience.
• Experience working with leading contractors in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project life cycles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
