Planning Engineer – Demand & Supply

JOB DETAILS:

Position Title: Planning Engineer – Demand & Supply

Reports to: Planning Manager Demand & Supply/ Operations Manager / BUH

Department: Supply Chain Department

Function: To ensure effective & efficient material planning & to have optimum stock combined with highest sales.

JOB PURPOSE: Plan and implement the overall demand & supply chain strategy, Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to manage factory demand & supply of material. Monitor & control MRP run results, adjust system output to comply with sales plan. Coordinate with procurement to ensure smooth material flow & comply with set KPI’s.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist the Supply Chain Director to develop the MRP parameters & process

. • Coordinate with sales managers to ensure stock distribution according to their target & planned forecast.

• Plan and organize weekly orders with the procurement dept

. • Monitor the stock levels and ensure SS are on target.

• Classify material based on value & movement pattern.

• Coordinate with WH manager to Provide Planning Manager with weekly reports on /Damaged / stock

• Provide sales Managers with monthly reports on their brands showing sales /forecast achievement.

• Attend monthly SOP meetings to ensure clear material & sales plan.

• Create & maintain material master data.

• Monitor all system parameters on quarterly basis to ensure complying with sales trends.

Communication:

• Internally: Operations, Sales Department, Procurement Department, Warehouse, Production Department, Quality Department etc.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration - AIPCS or CIPS will be preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience: 02 ~ 04 Years Experience in Demand & Supply Planning filed with excellent ERP knowledge.
