Context

As part of a major infrastructure project in Riyadh, a Planning Engineer is required to support project controls activities, schedule management, and progress tracking across all construction phases. The role focuses on ensuring accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting to support project delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6
  
  • Develop look-ahead schedules and weekly/monthly progress updates
  • Track and analyze planned versus actual project progress
  • Prepare manpower histograms and productivity analysis reports
  • Monitor long-lead items and key project deliverables
  • Maintain and update material submittal logs, shop drawing logs, and project tracking registers
  • Prepare dashboard reports and KPIs for management review
  • Coordinate with site and project teams to collect progress updates
  • Identify delays, risks, and critical issues, and propose corrective actions
  • Support project control activities to ensure timely project delivery

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  
  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of project controls and scheduling methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills
  • Good communication skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment
