Planning Engineer (MEP Background)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) background to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of UAE experience in construction/MEP projects and be proficient in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct delay analysis and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients for schedule updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of UAE experience in MEP project planning.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 & MS Project.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, MEP systems, and sequencing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in high-rise, mixed-use, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and claims management.

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
