Planning Engineer (MRP)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer (MRP) with a background in Electrical Panels to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have from 1 to 3 years of experience and will be responsible for ensuring accurate planning and scheduling of materials activities to meet project timelines and company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor MRP to ensure material availability for MV panels, LV panels, and lighting production.
• Review BOMs (Bill of Materials) for accuracy and update discrepancies with Engineering.
• Generate purchase requisitions and follow up with procurement for critical items.
• Monitor raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods stock levels.
• Minimize excess/obsolete inventory through proper planning.
• Track warehouse movements and ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
• Act as the link between Sales, Procurement, Production, and Engineering.
• Attend production meetings to update on planning status and bottlenecks.
• Ensure customer delivery commitments are met on time.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP system.
• Prepare planning reports (material shortages, production schedules, delivery status).
• Suggest process improvements in planning and supply chain operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or MRP, preferably in the electrical panels industry.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems ( Oracle, or equivalent).
• Understanding of MV & LV panels, switchgear components, and lighting products.
• Good knowledge of BOMs, production cycles, and lead times.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
