Role Purpose
The Infrastructure Senior BIM Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and other large-scale civil engineering works. This role involves managing technical aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing performance within project timelines and budgets. The Infrastructure Senior Engineer plays a key role in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, providing technical leadership, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Accountabilities

Revising the Infrastructure design drawings and specifications, start shop drawings preparation, RFI, sketches... etc., till as-built drawings in the Final stage of the project & provide revised prototypes, templates to be distributed within the team members to follow.

Achieve the project assigned time schedule plan with target dates & goals.

Prepare and submit RFIs & follow up replies & overdue reviewing submittals to be reported.

Technical reporting/ escalation of technical opened issues in all packages assigned.

Support assigned team to achieve target plans with illustration of goals & achievement requirements in preparation of shop drawings & any technical requirements submission.

Support Coordination between all trades (Civil/MEP).

Plan time frame of shop drawing issuance with "WBS" work breakdown schedule tasks and assign on subordinates.

Review detailed shop drawings aligned with project structural/ MEP drawings and follow guidance/comments from direct managers to issue the final shop drawings & technical directions.

Ensure the amendment of consultant’s comments on the shop drawings further rev. & consider all updated data through RFIs replies or SWI received.

Provide Technical induction to assigned Trainee.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in construction Civil engineering Infrastructure.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Excellent Command of English language skills.

BIM knowledge is a must.

PMP Certification is a plus.
