Planning Engineer (Water & Wastewater)

Description:

As a Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning and construction of stormwater drainage systems for a variety of projects in the UAE. You will work closely with our team of engineers and other professionals to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, project execution plan, milestone sequences, targets for activities based on each activity of a Project and ensure it meets DM specifications and requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
• Identify potential risks and delays to project schedules and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop cost-effective and efficient stormwater drainage solutions.
• Prepare and present progress reports and other project documentation to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in design, and construction programming/planning stormwater drainage systems.
• Proficient in industry-standard project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on projects in the UAE is preferred
• Experience in working on Water Infrastructure, TSE, Networks, Water Pipelines, Flood Prevention Schemes
• Fluency in English and high degree of numeracy and literacy.
