Job summary
The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing construction plans for tunnel projects, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This is a full-time, site-based position that requires a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- B.Tech/ B.E. (Civil) and total experience of 12 years or 10 yrs. experience in Grouting/ Ground Improvement works OR Diploma and total experience of 15 years or 10 yrs. experience in Grouting/ Ground Improvement works Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for tunnel construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and delivery timelines.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal productivity and minimal downtime across project sites.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in project plans and schedules, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor the progress of construction activities, track milestones, and update project schedules accordingly to reflect changes in project scope or timelines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any scheduling or planning issues.
- Software Proficiency: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
Key Requirements
- Experience: 12-17 years of experience in planning and project management within the civil engineering or construction industry, with a focus on tunnel projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering is preferred).
