Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for construction cost/planning and scheduling management.
• Responsible for organizing, managing and coordinating disciplines at construction site.
• Responsible for plant construction goals. Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well trained and motivated staff.
• Providing project cost / planning and scheduling leadership for construction.
• Ensuring full implementation of project control systems.
• Preparation of project control plan for project in accordance with procedures and objectives.
• Providing project control summary to relevant stakeholders.
• Working closely with the project team assisting and guiding on any project control / planning issues.
• Other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in an engineering or equivalent discipline (B.S. degree is much preferable).
• Advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
• Good oral communication skills (meetings with contractors, senior authority management, technical disciplines).
• Post graduate degree highly preferable in relevant discipline.
• Proven track record in oil & gas field.
• Over 10 years of work experience in a Planning or Project Controls capacity working on large scale projects.
• Thorough experience and understanding of planning and scheduling, cost estimation and control.
• Middle East experience preferable.
