Planning & Policy Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:

Provide in-depth analysis and benchmarking across all areas of organization development as well as HR policies and procedures when providing discipline-specific professional guidance and support to internal customers and colleagues to ensure equitable and consistent application.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyze HR policy and general personnel benefit provisions, evaluates the same against prevailing practices among similar organizations and prepares reports and recommendations.
  • Study relevant legislation and labor arbitration decisions to assess trends, ensure that specific HR policy provisions comply with relevant laws, plans needed modifications.
  • Assist in annual Workforce Budget for all departments by gathering all data and liaising with Managers to ensure timely completion of workforce planning budget. Issues final approved Manpower Budget, Organization Charts and Establishment and monitors implementation generates periodic reports.
  • Develop, update and maintain integrity of the organization charts to ensure smooth and adequate implementation and ensures the requests for variation are in line with workforce plan and company policy.
  • Develop and implement the complete Performance Management System from Goal Setting Stage to the Merit Assignment and Bonus Pay-out to SASREF employees.
  • Coordinate merit increase and variable pay processes, and ensure managers understand and conform to compensation vehicles, processes and philosophy.
  • Ensure the implementation of Promotion policy & procedure.
  • Make the reward programs competitive in the local and international labor market, upholding relevant legal and quality requirements and accepted prevailing practices.
  • Ensure all positions have well defined, and appropriate job descriptions and business processes and work activities relevant to position, are executed in compliance with SASREF policy.
  • Execute all position management related activities including system data foundation, reports, data cleansing, etc.

Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others.

Adhere strictly to all IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential WPS and PSM incidents at all times.

Always comply with the SASREF HSE Policy, the 5 Safety Principles and 8 Golden Safety Rules.


  • Cybersecurity:

Description:

Maintain SASREF’s cybersecurity by implementing security best practices.

Adhere strictly to all cybersecurity requirements while dealing with SASREF’s assets and data

Comply always with SASREF’s information security policies.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 of relevant experience
