Planning Specialist

Sysmex Turkey, a leading medical device company, is seeking a Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. The Planning Specialist will play a key role in ensuring smooth order management, accurate inventory planning, and effective coordination across internal and external stakeholders. This is a temporary position for a period of 8 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) process, from creation to stock entry, in close collaboration with the regional Supply Chain team.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through effective coordination with the Sales team
• Execute replenishment planning within predefined parameters
• Optimize inbound deliveries to minimize shipment durations, logistics costs, and import expenses
• Negotiate lead times, delivery terms, and payment conditions with global and local third-party suppliers
• Serve as Key User for the SAP MM module and collaborate with EMEA Key Users on system enhancements
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for inventory levels
• Monitor, analyse, and report key KPIs related to inventory performance
• Maintain accurate Master Data records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and Supply Chain projects to enhance operational efficiency
• Work cross-functionally with Sales and other departments to ensure alignment on demand and stock availability
• Organize weekly and monthly meetings with Sales and relevant stakeholders
• Track and follow up on orders, ensuring timely updates and clear communication with the Sales department

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain operations and inventory planning
• Proficiency in SAP MM and SD modules; strong command of Microsoft-based systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong analytical thinking, presentation skills, and high attention to detail
