A leading company in the alcoholic beverages industry is seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering functions within their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the plant operates efficiently and effectively while meeting production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all engineering activities within the plant, including process design, equipment selection, and implementation of engineering projects.
- Collaborate with plant operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency optimization in manufacturing processes.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of all plant equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve engineering-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines.
- Manage engineering budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to align engineering efforts with overall plant goals.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering management or a related role within FMCG environment.
- Proven track record of managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- FMCG experience is a must.
