A leading international group in the large-scale infrastructure sector is actively involved in an iconic Metro extension in Saudi Arabia .
Renowned for its commitment to excellence, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable practices, the company is now expanding its team and is looking for an
experienced Plant & Equipment Manager
to join the project.
The role will be based in Riyadh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a complex, high-impact project alongside international specialists.
Main responsibilities of the role:

Develop and execute the departmental strategy for the entire equipment fleet, aligning with project phasing and critical milestones.

Formulate and execute the master plan for the mobilization, utilization, maintenance, and demobilization of the entire equipment portfolio.

Provide expert technical guidance and decision-making for all equipment-related issues.

Technical Authority & Risk Management
-
TBM Management: Provide expert oversight of the maintenance, operation, and logistics for large-diameter (>10m) Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).

NATM & Tunneling Equipment: Manage the fleet for drill & blast and NATM operations, including excavators, shotcrete machines, drilling jumbos, and grouting equipment.

Establish and oversee the project's technical standards for maintenance, safety, and operation of all plant.

Station Systems: Oversee the maintenance and operation of temporary mechanical and electrical systems installed within stations and shafts

Lead the response to and recovery from any major equipment breakdowns, ensuring rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is conducted.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. A Master’s degree preferable.

20+ years of experience, with 7–10 years managing mega project as Plant Manager.

Must possess proven experience with large-diameter TBMs (>10m), including their assembly, operation, and maintenance.

Must have strong hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to understand hydraulic systems, drive systems, PLC controls, and high-voltage power supplies.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English.
