Plant Manager

Overview

Duties

  • Lead and coordinate all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Develop and implement production plans using ERP systems, such as Global Shop, and MRP to meet customer demands..
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze operational data to identify areas for growth and efficiency gains.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership, training, and development opportunities for staff across manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance functions.

Skills

  • Experience in production management within manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of plant operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; knowledge of MRP systems is essential for effective production planning.
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement methodologies, and quality control practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in assembly processes to troubleshoot issues swiftly and implement solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills in supply chain management and logistics to optimize workflows from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across operations management disciplines. Pay: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
