Indus Pipes & Fittings is hiring an experienced and result-oriented Plant Manager to lead and oversee complete manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in plastic pipes, fittings, extrusion, production planning, operations management, and manufacturing processes.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, operational efficiency, quality standards, cost control, and team performance while maintaining production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete plant operations and manufacturing activities
- Monitor production planning and ensure timely output
- Supervise production, maintenance, warehouse, and operational teams
- Ensure efficient utilization of machinery, manpower, and raw materials
- Maintain production KPIs and operational performance
- Control production costs and improve plant efficiency
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and supply chain departments
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
- Monitor inventory and raw material availability
- Identify process improvement and productivity enhancement opportunities
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of relevant Plant Management experience (mandatory)
- Experience in Plastic, HDPE, MDPE, PVC, UPVC Pipes & Fittings manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations
- Experience managing teams and factory workflows
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of maintenance, inventory, and production KPIs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred)
