What is Product Manager – Digital Banking - MMBL


The Product Manager – Digital Banking is responsible for designing, enhancing, and managing digital banking products across mobile app, internet banking, and internal digital channels. The role focuses on translating business and customer needs into well-defined digital features, working closely with business, technology, operations, risk and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-friendly solution


What Product Manager – Digital Banking Does


  • Own assigned digital banking products and features throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch optimization.
  • Contribute to the digital banking roadmap in alignment with the bank’s digital transformation strategy and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to digitize manual processes and enhance customer journeys across digital channels. Define product goals, success metrics, release plans, and feature priorities.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from business, operations, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Design end-to-end digital customer journeys, including exception handling and edge-case scenarios.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to develop intuitive, customer-centric digital experiences.
  • Work closely with technology and engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Manage, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in line with business priorities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide functional guidance and clarifications to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot launches, and production deployments.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities across all teams.
  • Present product updates, demonstrations, progress reports, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all digital products and features comply with SBP regulations, internal policies, AML requirements, and information security standards.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Information Security functions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation to support audits, governance reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key digital performance indicators, including adoption, engagement, transaction success rates, drop-offs, and turnaround times.
  • Analyze customer feedback, complaints, operational issues, and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous product enhancements to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and operational procedures for digital products and processes.
  • Coordinate training and knowledge transfer sessions for call center, branch, operations, and support teams.

Ensure operational readiness and seamless transition of new features and products to business-as-usual operations.


What are we looking for and what does it take to be Product Manager – Digital Banking - MMBL?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in product management, digital banking, fintech, or technology-driven roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to digital banking channels, including mobile banking applications, internet banking platforms, APIs, and core banking systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital product development lifecycles and customer-centric product management practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, business, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices is an advantage.
  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment will be considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
