Plant Operator

REQUIRED: Experience working (loading and unloading) with liquid tanker trailers and liquid rail cars is REQUIRED.

REQUIRED: Manufacturing or industrial experience in a chemical plant or similar process plant experience is REQUIRED.

Agrileum Collections is a Memphis based recycling company that works with restaurants and industrial customers to provide feedstock to the biodiesel industry.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our production team as Plant Operator.

What you will be doing:

• Work with operators to keep the plant running in optimum state. As and when needed, transferring liquids within/from rail cars, bulk storage tanks, tankers and process tanks using pumps.
• Unloading material from bulk trucks, rail cars, totes and drums.
• Collect samples and conduct quality control tests including chemical lab tests. (Training will be provided).
• Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs.

Note this job requires physical labor and to be in the open (but covered) space and will require driving at times. Please have this in consideration before applying.

Requirements:

• Able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Attention to safety critical.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to drive forklift

Physical requirements include:

• Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment.
• Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders up to 30 feet.
• Must be willing to work around dust, oil, and other substances.
