Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on assigned shifts.
Ensure that production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality control.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal output.
Train and mentor production staff on proper operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to production workers.
Maintain accurate production records and reports, including production output, downtime, and quality control data.
Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and engineering, to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure smooth production flow and minimize waste.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, promoting a safe and efficient workspace.
