The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Manager to lead Division 3 — EstateX Platform end-to-end. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role that sits at the intersection of product, technology, and business operations. You will own the platform from architecture decisions to go-live delivery, manage a blended team of engineers, product specialists, and operations staff, and be accountable for EstateX becoming Pakistan's most trusted proptech destination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Strategy & Roadmap

• Own and execute the EstateX product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Apex Group's revenue goals and the Product go-live milestone.
• Define platform architecture, technology stack decisions, and scalability roadmap in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Translate business requirements (sales, marketing, legal, finance) into product features and technical specifications.
• Manage the feature prioritisation backlog using agile/sprint methodology.

2. Engineering & Product Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a cross-functional team: Sr. Software Engineers, Product Manager, Developer Partnerships, Freelancers, UI/UX Designer, Data Lead, and Platform Ops Executive.
• Conduct bi-weekly sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop Year 2 platform hires (Junior Dev, UI/UX Designer, Data Lead etc.)
• Foster a high-accountability, delivery-focused engineering culture.

3. Go-Live Execution & Launch Management

• Drive all pre-launch workstreams on time, on quality, within budget.
• Coordinate across Sales & Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams for a seamless launch.
• Manage the onboarding of 500 third-party property listings and 2,000+ verified users in Q1 post-launch.
• Oversee UAT, QA, security audits, and regulatory compliance certification before go-live.

4. Platform Operations & Reliability

• Ensure platform uptime of ≥ 99.5% post-launch with clear incident response and escalation protocols.
• Own the SLA framework for all platform integrations — payment gateways, CRM, property portals, and third-party APIs.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Manage P1/P2 bug triage — P1 resolution within 24 hours.

5. Developer Partnerships & Ecosystem

• Manage and grow relationships with Developer Partners, Community Managers, and Compliance & Verification functions.
• Build and manage the API partner ecosystem for third-party integrations.
• Oversee all freelancer and outsourced vendor relationships — deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.

6. Budget & Cost Management

• Own the platform technology budget — vendor contracts, SaaS tools, cloud infrastructure, freelancers.
• Track spend vs. budget monthly; maintain variance within 5% of approved allocation.
• Provide monthly financial reporting to the CEO and Finance Manager.

7. Compliance, Security & Data Governance

• Ensure EstateX is fully compliant with applicable Pakistani digital and data regulations.
• Oversee KYC, AML, and property verification workflows built into the platform.
• Zero tolerance for data breaches — implement and enforce data governance standards.
• Coordinate with Legal function on all regulatory filings and platform compliance requirements.

Requirements

Essential

• 6+ years of experience in product management, platform management, or software project delivery.
• Proven track record of launching and operating a digital product or platform at scale.
• Strong command of agile/scrum methodology — sprint planning, backlog grooming, velocity tracking.
• Experience managing cross-functional tech teams (engineering, product, QA, design).
• Technical fluency — able to engage meaningfully with engineering architecture, APIs, and system design (non-coding role, technical understanding essential).
• Strong stakeholder management — ability to bridge business, tech, and leadership communication.
• Experience in budget management and vendor contracting.

Preferred

• Experience in proptech, real estate technology, fintech, or marketplace platforms.
• Familiarity with Pakistan's real estate regulatory landscape and digital compliance requirements.
• Exposure to data analytics platforms, BI reporting, and product analytics tools.
• Experience scaling a product from zero to launch in a high-growth startup environment.
