Plumber Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with hands-on experience in various plumbing systems and techniques. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all plumbing installations and repairs meet industry standards and regulations.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Perform pipe threading and assembly for various types of piping materials.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist in remodeling projects by installing new fixtures, pipes, and appliances as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress.

Skills

• Proficient in construction plumbing techniques with hands-on experience in the field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting requirements associated with plumbing installations.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
• Experience in carpentry is a plus for assisting with related tasks on-site.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to guide installation processes.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is beneficial for integrated system installations.
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
