Plumbers Labourer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Labourer to join our construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience across various trades within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of tasks that contribute to the completion of building projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site.

Duties

• Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks as directed by supervisors
• Supporting construction painting, plumbing, and electrical work where applicable
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Participating in fabrication activities to prepare materials for installation
• Assisting with site preparation, material handling, and clean-up operations
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
• Supporting team members in completing projects within specified deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is essential
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and manoeuvring materials
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites
• Willingness to undertake training as required for specialised tasks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
