Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Heating Engineer – Bedford
Location: Bedford (covering Bedfordshire, Home Counties, London & occasional further travel)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Domestic Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our Bedford‑based team. This role is offered on a probationary basis, leading to full‑time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial and domestic plumbing and heating systems
• Fault finding on heating systems, boilers and hot & cold water systems
• Repairs to sanitaryware and drainage
• Identify materials required and complete work to a high standard
• Accurately complete job records and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (essential)
• Experience in commercial plumbing and heating desirable
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to commute to Bedford

Hours & Employment

• Monday to Friday 8‑hour shifts
• Occasional weekend work may be required
• Probation leading to full‑time employment

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
