Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across various commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and associated pipework.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of heating equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Carry out welding and assembly tasks as required for system modifications or repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete installation and repair work accurately.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
- Lift heavy components safely and assist with the movement of equipment around sites.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out and report any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems and associated components.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics.
- Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles is desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and task execution.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting faults.
