Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems across various commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and associated pipework.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of heating equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Carry out welding and assembly tasks as required for system modifications or repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete installation and repair work accurately.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
• Lift heavy components safely and assist with the movement of equipment around sites.
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of work carried out and report any issues promptly.

Skills

• Proficient in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems and associated components.
• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics.
• Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles is desirable but not essential.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and task execution.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting faults. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently or as part of a team in varied environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £36,966.07-£65,300.07 per year
