Plumbing Design Engineer - Drainage & water Supply

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Design Engineer – Drainage & Water Supply to develop accurate and efficient plumbing system designs for projects in Dubai. The role focuses on designing water supply and drainage systems, preparing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design water supply systems (hot & cold water distribution)

• Design drainage and waste water systems

• Design storm water drainage systems

• Plan sewage and wastewater systems

• Preparation of Shop drawings and modifications as per the site requirements.

• Develop coordination drawings aligned with architectural, structural, and other MEP layouts.

• Review and revise drawings based on consultant and client comments.

• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, local authority codes, and international standards.

• Prepare as-built drawings and final documentation upon project completion.

• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to resolve design or coordination issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• 2– 4 years relevant experience in Plumbing Design and Drawing

• Strong technical knowledge of local authority requirements and Standards

• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.

• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

• UAE/GCC experience required.
