Plumbing Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Engineer to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and supervision of plumbing and drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will ensure that all systems are designed and executed in compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems for various building types.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Review and coordinate plumbing designs with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and standards.
• Estimate material quantities, prepare BOQs, and assist in procurement processes.
• Evaluate and approve plumbing shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure all systems comply with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support commissioning and testing activities for plumbing installations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design or installation issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in plumbing design and supervision (preferably in the GCC region).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fire water systems, and drainage design.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
