Job Summary

The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all plumbing installation activities at site, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role involves managing manpower, materials, quality, and coordination with other trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute plumbing works including water supply, drainage, soil & waste, rainwater, and sanitary installations.
  • Read and interpret approved shop drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Plan daily activities and allocate manpower efficiently.
  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, civil teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE rules and site safety regulations.
  • Identify material requirements and coordinate with store/procurement teams.
  • Conduct inspections and support testing & commissioning activities.
  • Report daily progress, issues, and manpower status to the site engineer/manager.
  • Resolve site technical issues and clashes in coordination with engineers.
  • Ensure timely completion of plumbing works as per project schedule.
