Plumbing Journeyman and/or apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber and/or Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to further their career in plumbing and gain hands-on experience in the field. As a Baldwin Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills necessary for success in this trade.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Plumber.
• Proven expertise in commercial plumbing across various settings, including office buildings, medical and healthcare facilities, industrial sites, and distribution centers.
• Proficient in working with water, sewer, and gas piping, including PVC, copper, black pipe, and galvanized pipe.
• Experience with pump systems, including recirculation pumps, booster pumps, and both duplex and triplex sump pumps.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial water heaters and boilers.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as project demands arise.
• Experience interacting with commercial clients is a must; we value personable and professional candidates.
• Study blueprints to understand the structure of water supply/drainage system and piping system.
• Test plumbing systems to identify leaks and other faults.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures to perform, repair or replace damaged components.
• Liaise with Project Manager to ensure plumbing operations align with overall construction objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and policies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the plumbing field.
• General knowledge and ability to use hand tools and trade related tools.
• Must be able to utilize man lift.
• Ability to use a mini excavator, skid steer and/or other related large machinery is a PLUS!
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Pay: $21.00 - $34.00 per hour
