Pay: $80K - $115K, plus bonuses

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • At least 3 years of proven leadership or management experience.
  • Strong background in sales training and team development.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Track record of training, coaching, and growing high-performing teams.
  • NC Plumbing License preferred (or ability to obtain).


Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key leadership role in launching, shaping, and growing our brand-new plumbing division.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of residential plumbing service technicians to deliver exceptional results.
  • Run engaging weekly training sessions to sharpen skills and elevate team performance.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs to coach technicians and support their success.
  • Hold effective one-on-one check-ins and weekly Level 10 team meetings to maintain communication and alignment.
  • Drive daily revenue goals, manage departmental budgets, and ensure profitability.
  • Establish KPIs and create clear performance improvement plans when needed.
  • Partner with vendors to coordinate ongoing technical training for your team.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, set clear goals, and motivate your team to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and leadership to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Step in to resolve customer issues with professionalism, empathy, and care.
  • Manage department resources-including tools, inventory, and vehicles-to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Communicate company goals and values consistently, reinforcing a strong, positive culture.
  • Ensure every repair and installation-from water heaters to sewer lines-is done safely, efficiently, and up to code.
  • Oversee permits, inspections, and code compliance to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Review dispatch schedules to optimize productivity and workflow.
  • Handle employee and customer concerns promptly and professionally, fostering trust and accountability.
