The position of Plumbing Field Superintendent is to install/manage residential and commercial plumbing systems installations from layout to finish of projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage field employees and complete tasks daily
- Follow and instill employees with safety requirements
- Watch over budget of project/bring and issues up as the arise
- Work with all company departments to ensure a team atmosphere.
- Perform additional duties relative to position as assigned by supervisor
- Establish customer relationships to sell the right products and services.
- Regular Attendance/Punctual
- Understand project specific and revenue goals.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable
- Grow business with referrals and repeat business
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
- Licensed with knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications. (A Must)
- Knowledge in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing and repair.
- Continued education and training.
- Clean/Safe driving record.
- Drivers License
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communications with good social skills.
- High integrity.
- Strong desire to grow in the trade.
- Team first attitude.
- Overtime as needed
- Ability to read project plans, sketches, layout projects per contract documents
