Plumbing Supervisor

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all plumbing activities related to interior fit-out projects, ensuring installations are completed as per approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The role involves site supervision, coordination with other trades, quality control, and manpower management.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day plumbing activities at project sites.
• Ensure execution of plumbing works as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor installation of water supply systems, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, piping, pumps, and related components.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements.

2. Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, MEP engineers, civil teams, and other subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on plumbing progress.
• Coordinate material delivery and ensure availability as per work schedule.

3. Quality Control

• Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Identify and rectify installation issues promptly.
• Ensure proper testing of piping systems (pressure testing, leakage testing, etc.).
• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure.

4. Manpower & Resource Management

• Allocate tasks to plumbers and helpers effectively.
• Monitor workforce productivity and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site training when required.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage.
• Report incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily work reports and progress updates.
• Track material usage and report shortages.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Plumbing / Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in plumbing works, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage, water supply, and sanitary installations.
• Familiarity with local building codes and authority regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
