Vacant Role Description
The Point of Contact (POC) - DSP will be the primary liaison between the delivery service team and clients, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency. This full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities include managing delivery operations, addressing client queries, overseeing logistics coordination, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring KPIs are met. The POC will also communicate with drivers, resolve delivery-related challenges, and support process improvements to optimize overall performance.
1. Daily Operations Management
- Schedule and roster drivers per wave plan, ensuring all routes are staffed and launched on time.
- Manage attendance and shift rosters before dispatch.
- Track and control fuel and Salik usage through daily/weekly reports.
- Enforce route discipline and prevent OOR (Out of Region) incidents.
- Monitor real-time route progress and key delivery events (OFD, POD, RTS).
2. Driver Supervision & Performance
- Conduct daily driver briefings and debriefs.
- Guide and counsel drivers on performance, compliance, and service standards.
- Track key metrics — on-time rate, success rate, RTS %, and OOR incidents.
- Implement corrective actions for non-compliance or recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to Amazon DSP performance, safety, and behavior standards.
3. SLA Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure full adherence to Amazon SLAs on delivery timelines, accuracy, and safety.
- Audit daily reports to identify SLA breaches or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Amazon teams for issue resolution and compliance checks.
- Maintain POD accuracy and RTS accountability for all deliveries.
4. Reporting & Communication
- Submit daily updates on performance, route completion, attendance, and exceptions.
- Prepare reports on delivery metrics, fuel/Salik usage, and SLA adherence.
- Share daily summaries with management and Amazon DSP teams on performance and improvements.
- Maintain clear communication between operations, drivers, and Amazon teams.
5. Partner Relationship & Coordination
- Serve as the main contact between Ciao Delivery and Amazon DSP leadership.
- Provide real-time data, insights, and operational support to Amazon and DSP teams.
- Coordinate with HR, Fleet, and Training for driver onboarding, documentation, and retraining.
- Work with internal teams (finance, admin, warehouse) to ensure smooth operations.
6. Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and address inefficiencies in routes, driver use, and delivery processes.
- Analyze data to optimize costs, boost productivity, and uphold SLA standards.
- Implement improvements to reduce RTS, OOR, and delivery delays.
- Support new tools and automation for route, reporting, and attendance optimization.

Work Environment & Expectations:
- Location: Amazon Delivery Station, Dubai
- Shift: Rotational (as per operational wave scheduling)
- Must be available for early-morning dispatches and late evening RTS supervision.
- Requires on-ground presence at the station for live monitoring and driver management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in logistics, delivery operations, or Amazon DSP programs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and delivery software (e.g., FleetRunnr, Amazon DSP Portal).
- Analytical Ability: Strong command over performance tracking and data interpretation.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication, with the ability to motivate and manage large teams of drivers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle operational challenges calmly and provide real-time solutions.
- Discipline & Compliance: Keen understanding of safety, policy adherence, and Amazon’s operational code of conduct.
