Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related natural science and one year of experience investigating or analyzing pollution and/or environmental problems and developing solutions are required; or one year of experience as a Pollution Control Inspector 1 with Miami-Dade County is required. Must possess a Driver license.

Recruitment Notes

The Pollution Inspector 2 position within the Airports & Contracts Section performs inspections at 5 Miami-Dade County operated airports which include the following inspection types: IW-5, GDO, PSO, APCF, construction, complaints, and soil handling. Additionally, this position assists in the performance of inspections of sites undergoing assessment/cleanup under the Dade County Contracts program.
