Poolside Grill Server

The 1925 Grill Server is responsible for preforming a variety of duties within a 1925 Grill establishment which may include completing customer transactions, cleaning the food or stock areas, and maintaining inventory; preforming all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.

Essential Functions

• Greets customers and takes food orders; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to “upsell” products.
• Operates point of sell software
• Serves members and their guests pool-side
• Cleans and stocks work area
• Prepares drink orders
• Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies.
• Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
• Clean and sanitizes workstation and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to easily operate computers
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.

Work Environment
This job operates in a kitchen and pool-side environment, housed with equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef’s knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.

Physical Demands

• Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to preform normal job functions.
• Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Requires the ability to speak read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part-time seasonal position, and expected work hours are 20-40 hours per week, Tuesday through Sunday, May through September, and Memorial Day and Labor Day.
