Port Machinery Sales Manager

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Knowledge of port machinery, construction equipment, and their applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian construction market, the upcoming major project and its key players.

Experience:-

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment sector.
  • Native Arabic speaker

Job Description:-

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the port machinery market.
  • Build a pipeline of potential customers, including port authorities, logistics companies, and terminal operators.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to strengthen partnerships.

Product Expertise and Consultation:

  • Provide technical consultations to clients, ensuring they understand the capabilities and benefits of the machinery.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to offer customized solutions based on client requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in port machinery.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyse sales metrics to adjust strategies as needed.

Collaboration and Team Leadership:

  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate with the after-sales service team to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Mentor and support junior sales staff or team members in achieving their goals.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Present sales forecasts, budget plans, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Undertake additional job roll-related tasks as necessary to support the companys mission and operations.
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ﷼18,000.00 - ﷼22,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Sales exp in Heavy machinery or construction: 5 years (Required)
