About the Role:
The Portfolio Manager will execute the Strategy, Value Creation Plan, and Transformation Roadmap, initially focusing on divestments, subsidiary performance, and rationalization. Over time, the role will shift to driving organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Covering the full portfolio lifecycle, responsibilities include project reviews, performance monitoring, and process optimization, along with managing risks, preparing reports, and conducting market research to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Manager’s role will be structured across three main dimensions: Portfolio Management, Strategic Development and M&A and Investments.

Support the assessment of financial and strategic performance of the Group’s subsidiaries, joint ventures, and adjacencies.

Assist in preparing value creation plans across the portfolio.

Help maintain the portfolio dashboard and reporting framework, including ownership levels, governance rights, and financial exposure.

Prepare regular updates (presentations and memos) on portfolio companies.

Conduct market research and benchmarking to support strategy formulation.

Assist in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities in adjacent sectors.

Track industry trends and competitors to provide insights for portfolio and group-level strategy.

Contribute to financial modelling, business cases, and investment memos to support decision-making.

Assist in due diligence processes across financial, legal, commercial, operational, and HR dimensions.
What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics and/or other functional qualifications and/or functional certifications.

Certification in good standing, such as CFA/ CAIA / ACCA.

5-10 years of experience in finance, investment (private equity investments), or management consulting and an ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

Experience in evaluating company performance and translating insights into value creation and performance improvement initiatives.

Proficient in portfolio management methodologies and best practices, with emphasis on optimizing returns and improving underperforming assets.

Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis to support corporate strategy and investment decisions.

Experience in translating market insights into actionable strategies that drive portfolio growth and performance improvement.
