We are looking for a Post Contract Quantity Surveyor with 4–6 years of experience in interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all post-contract commercial activities, including cost control, valuations, variations, subcontractor management, and final account settlements, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all post-contract quantity surveying and commercial activities for fit-out projects.
- Prepare and evaluate variations, change orders, and claims.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
- Measure work completed and certify subcontractor payments.
- Review subcontract agreements and ensure contractual compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and commercial correspondence.
- Assist in dispute resolution and contract administration when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Post Contract Quantity Surveyor in the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of post-contract administration, FIDIC, and standard construction contracts.
- Experience in managing variations, claims, cost reporting, and final accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- UAE fit-out project experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and commercial practices.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
