Power BI Developer – Banking & Regulatory Reporting (Finance Domain)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with strong experience in Banking, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and analytical reports to support financial and regulatory compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for financial and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into visual analytics.
• Gather, clean, and transform data from multiple banking and financial systems.
• Develop data models and DAX queries to support accurate and efficient reporting.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory reporting standards (e.g., CBUAE, Basel III, IFRS9).
• Optimize existing Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Automate and streamline manual reporting processes using Power BI and related tools.
• Support data validation, documentation, and user training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Power BI Developer in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance (CBUAE, Basel III, IFRS9, etc.).
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Axiom, Moody’s, Oracle Financials, SAP, or other reporting tools.
• Exposure to data governance and business intelligence best practices.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database) is an advantage.
