Power Platform Developer

About the Job


Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining low-code business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable solutions, integrating with Microsoft and third-party systems, and ensuring governance, security, and performance standards are met. The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives.


Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into functional, scalable, and efficient low-code solutions.
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing Power Platform solutions to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Integrate Power Platform applications with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party systems.
  • Implement governance frameworks, data security controls, and compliance standards across all Power Platform solutions.
  • Manage the application lifecycle, including version control, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-launch support.
  • Collaborate with business units, functional teams, and IT to identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to best practices, standards, and reusable components for Power Platform development.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and integration concepts.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM), security roles, and governance in Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications preferred:
  • PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
  • PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
  • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
