Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 5–6 working days per week (project-dependent)
• Standard working hours with flexibility during commissioning or project milestones

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review protection schemes for transmission and distribution systems
• Perform relay coordination studies and fault analysis
• Configure, test, and commission protection relays (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.)
• Conduct power system studies (short circuit, load flow, stability)
• Analyze system disturbances and deliver root cause analysis reports
• Ensure compliance with IEC and IEEE standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution
• Support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and system upgrades
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings

Most In-Demand Skills

• Power system protection and relay coordination
• Hands-on experience with protection relays (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Schneider)
• Proficiency in engineering software: ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD
• Strong understanding of fault analysis and system modeling
• Knowledge of substation automation and SCADA systems
• Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience (flexible for high-potential candidates)
• Experience in transmission or distribution projects is an advantage
• Professional certifications are a plus but not required
