Job Summary:

The PR and Social Media officer provides administrative and tactical support with various PR and marketing activities and projects. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for communications. will execute marketing strategies including but not limited to digital marketing, social media management, content creation, community engagement and market research aiming to boost sales and revenues while maintaining highest levels of customer's satisfaction and global reach.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Media Relations:

  • Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other media materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and track media mentions.
  • Assist with media outreach and follow-up.
  • Research media opportunities and trends.


Content Creation:

  • Draft and edit content for various platforms, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and website copy.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials.
  • Create content calendars and manage social media posting schedules.


Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Creative Director, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination.


Social Media Management

  • Build and promote the groups' brands on social media platforms and sustain an engaged community through blogs, stories, and solid online presence.
  • Create and manage all email, social media and website content – including content for brand and vendor marketing, training programs and events - in accordance with the approved marketing calendar.
  • Ensure that content on all platforms is up-to-date and reflects real-time data.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Create and schedule regular posts, stories, and updates to maintain a consistent online presence.
  • Monitor social media analytics to track engagement and adjust strategies accordingly.


Community Engagement:

  • Foster relationship with existing members through community building activities and events.
  • Respond to inquiries and comments on social media platforms and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.


Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis and customer preferences.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and messaging.
  • Execute management directives when required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferable.
  • Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Internship experience in public relations or communications is a plus.
  • Must communicate in fluent English and Arabic.
