We are seeking an experienced Public & Corporate Relations Director to lead public opinion monitoring and public relations strategies, ensuring strong, high-level relationship management with government stakeholders and press members for Chery Company Türkiye office. This role will safeguard and elevate corporate reputation by taking ownership of all internal and external written and verbal communications , ensuring consistency with Chery’s brand objectives while executing proactive, integrated communication efforts in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take full ownership of managing and safeguarding Chery Company’s reputation through strategic, consistent communication efforts across all channels.
• Coordinate and plan corporate communications in alignment with Brand Management teams.
• Develop, implement, and follow up on strategies and the organization of communication plans , ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Manage high-level relationships with government officials and press members , ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication that supports Chery Company’s business objectives.
• Oversee and approve all internal and external written and verbal communications , maintaining consistency and professionalism aligned with Chery’s brand standards.
• Organize and manage senior management representation and communications during external events and corporate invitations , ensuring appropriate positioning and messaging.
• Provide daily and immediate reporting to senior management on public sentiment, potential risks, and key stakeholder updates by conducting real-time monitoring of public opinion and social media and delivering instant action plans for urgent developments.
• Plan and manage press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and public appearances to enhance corporate-level perception of the company.
• Develop and execute strategic communication plans aligned with Chery Company’s goals, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Handle crisis management through proactive planning and responsive communications to protect and maintain the company’s reputation.
• Create, review, and manage press releases, social media content, and internal communications materials to support communication objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in PR and corporate communications, preferably within the automotive industry .
• Proven expertise in managing high-level relationships with VIP customers, government stakeholders, and press members .
• Excellent strategic thinking, media relations, and crisis management capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to perform under pressure , ensuring rapid, clear reporting and decisive action when needed.
• Proficiency in social media monitoring and public opinion analysis tools .
• High attention to detail with a commitment to consistent, professional messaging aligned with Chery Company’s brand objectives .
