Background and Skills: note these skills are a must

• Ideally candidate must have at least 2 years of proven previous experience in any UK based accounting firm.
• Drafting accounts for limited companies as per UK taxation rules & law.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software(s), like QuickBooks, Xero, Sage etc.
• Excellent understanding of accounts accounts, VAT & Corporation Tax.
• VAT registration & filing VAT returns to government of UK.
• Excellent analytical and interpretation skills, organization skills, and attention to details
• Excellent written reporting & verbal communication skills (English).
• Strong administration skill.
• Must have understanding of accruals based accounting method.
• Must know the double entry and treatment.

Job Description :

A Practice Accountant provides professional financial advice to fee-paying clients who could be private individuals, small businesses through to international or public sector organisations.

The Practice Accountant plays a strategic role reviewing data and making recommendations based on this – ultimately aiming to maximise profitability on behalf of their client.

Practice Accountant role, duties and responsibilities :

A Practice Accountant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

• Providing financial advice
• Management of financial systems and budgets
• Undertaking financial audits
• Complete VAT Returns
• Advising on tax planning
• Performing tests to check financial information and systems
• Maintaining records, preparing accounts and management information
• Advising on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions
• Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency
• Managing junior colleagues and trainees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
