Pre-K 2 Teacher at HPUMC Day School

This role focuses on providing a nurturing, faith-based early childhood education experience for 2-year-old preschool students. The teacher will support children's academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Create a positive, safe, and organized classroom.
• Supervise children during learning activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods.
• Use positive behavior guidance and classroom management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Comply with childcare licensing requirements and school policies.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• CDA credential or a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to manage a preschool classroom effectively.
• Strong patience, reliability, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous preschool teaching experience.

Full-Time

• Monday–Friday
• 7:45 AM–4:45 PM
• 8:30 AM - 5:30PM
