Pre K 3 Lead Teacher Needed for Nurturing Early Learning Center

Join our close knit early childhood education center as a Pre K 3 Teacher responsible for leading a structured, engaging classroom that prepares children for preschool readiness and future academic success. In this role, you will guide three year olds through early literacy, foundational math concepts, social development, and independent learning skills in a supportive and developmentally appropriate environment.

We are looking for a teacher who can confidently run a classroom, maintain structure, and create meaningful learning experiences while still keeping the environment warm, fun, and child centered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Pre K 3 classroom with structure, consistency, and positive classroom management
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on early literacy, math readiness, language development, and social skills
  • Create a learning environment that supports independence, curiosity, and school readiness
  • Manage daily classroom routines including transitions, meals, restroom support, and group activities
  • Use positive guidance strategies to support behavior and emotional development
  • Assess and document student progress and developmental milestones
  • Communicate regularly with families about learning progress and classroom experiences
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing standards
  • Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership to ensure classroom success

Qualifications

  • Experience working with preschool age children (3–4 years old) in a childcare or early education setting
  • Ability to confidently lead and manage a classroom environment
  • Understanding of early childhood development and school readiness skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan and execute structured lesson plans and classroom activities
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Passion for teaching and preparing young children for academic success
