Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, social development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help children develop essential cognitive, emotional, and physical skills through innovative lesson planning and interactive teaching methods. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic childhood development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Plan and execute engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and social skills while integrating standardized testing and assessment tools to monitor progress.
  • Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure smooth daily routines, including toddler care and childcare routines, while maintaining high standards of classroom management and discipline.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through clear and compassionate updates.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies, participate in ongoing professional development, and implement best practices in early childhood education.
  • Support child welfare by fostering a nurturing environment that promotes emotional well-being and healthy social interactions.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for young learners.
  • Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies such as literacy education or math instruction at the preschool level.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
