Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires an understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes child safety.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with center Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child welfare practices and early childhood development theories.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create engaging learning activities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
• A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.
