Duties

• Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, potty training, and nap times
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's day and any concerns
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement techniques
• Certification in First Aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
• Familiarity with classroom management strategies and caregiving routines for infants through preschoolers
